The book is a synopsis of lectures on the theory of commuting ordinary differential operators, read by the author at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University and at the School of Mathematical Sciences of Peking University. The textbook is designed for students, graduate students and all those interested in algebraic geometry and its applications.
